Designer Consignment
Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Consignment But Were Too Afraid To Ask
Send Us Your Stuff
Don't live in Arizona? No problem! We have hundreds of consigners that have been shipping us their better men and women’s clothing and accessories for almost 20 years.
A simple checklist for what to ship. We look for items that are:
- No more than 4-5 years old
- A retail value of at least $40
- In like-new and clean condition
Our best sellers (items that bring you the greatest return) are designer handbags and accessories, St. John knits, trendy label jeans, current designer clothing, and designer jewelry (both costume and fine jewelry).
Consign -- Kon–si-n. v. Latin for “clean out your home of all the stuff you don’t wear or like anymore and bring it into one of our stores where you will either end up with cash in your pocket or buy some other great stuff someone else brought in.”
OK, so maybe it isn’t Latin but isn’t it amazing how just one little word can mean so much? If it’s collectable, whimsical, exceptional or valuable and you’re not using it, we probably have a customer who will.
There’s no appointment needed. Come into any store, any day of the week. All we ask is for your items to be clean, pressed, on hangers and look like new. This is also what we call the three C’s: Cute, Clean and Current. That’s what you would want, right? This is not “thrift” shopping. My Sister’s Closet is the crème de la crème of designer recycled boutiques and we have customers from Alaska to Hawaii who tell us that. Sure, we are biased and you betcha’, (Alaskan wink) we’re proud.
But the fun doesn't stop just at your closet. Clean out your husband's side of the closet and consign his stuff at Well Suited, and that beautiful antique lamp that just doesn't seem to fit at My Sister's Attic.
We offer 55% of the selling price to you in store credit or 45% of the selling price in cash. You can get your cash as soon as your items sell. There’s no waiting for YOUR money to be mailed to you months later like other consignment stores (who will go nameless), just come on in and pick up your cash.
What happens if your items don’t sell? Items that don’t get snatched up after 60-90 days are donated to thrift stores or our favorite non-profits that benefit homeless pets and women’s groups. We will be happy to give you a receipt for the tax man.
We have over 70,000 consigners in our database. You should be one of them. And we have a truck who will come to your home or office so if you have five rooms full of furniture to consign, give us a call.
